Blizzard Sets Wrath Remix for Summer 2027

Blizzard has confirmed that World of Warcraft will get a Wrath of the Lich King Remix, announced during the World of Warcraft: What's Next panel at BlizzCon. The limited-time event is planned for summer 2027, according to Blizzard's panel reveal.

Wrath of the Lich King is, per Blizzard's own framing at the panel, its best-known and most beloved expansion, which makes it a heavier pull than the two expansions that got the Remix treatment before it: Mists of Pandaria and Legion. There was reportedly some community anxiety heading into BlizzCon that Blizzard might instead pick a less-loved era like Shadowlands or Warlords of Draenor, so landing on Wrath is the safe, crowd-pleasing choice.
